Prom dress resale event to be Feb. 8


MONROE CITY - The Monroe City Debonaire Homemaker's Club, Monroe City Senior Nutrition Center and Treasure Hunt (formerly Encore Clothing) will sponsor a prom dress resale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, in the back room of the Senior Nutrition Center at 314 S. Main St., Monroe City.

Resale dresses will be accepted between the hours of 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. All dresses are to be fashionable, clean, in good condition and on hangers. There will be a $5 handling fee per dress and all money/unsold dresses are to be picked up by 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11.

All girls from the surrounding areas are invited to shop and sell.
